On the April Fools’ Day on 1 April, which is so popular in many countries, the Ventspils Theatre invites you to the Theatre Ball April Fools! Starting from 21:00, visitors to the Cultural Centre will be greeted by a colourful programme with a healthy dose of humour in which they will have the opportunity to meet various Latvian and foreign „stars“. The musicians Jānis Mihailovs and Ando will provide fun dancing experience.
The Ventspils Theatre is reviving the tradition of entertaining Ventspils residents not only with new productions, but also by greeting their audience on the International Theatre Day with a humour-filled musical programme. . Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the beloved “Pop of the Ladies from Augšbebri” at the theatre’s parties, and Freddie Mercury himself promises to attend the ball. The most loyal fans of the Ventspils Theatre will surely remember the „Golden Cod“ award ceremony that took place more than ten years ago, where fun always reached new heights.

The ball will take place in the large hall of the Cultural Centre, and visitors are invited to bring their own snacks. In the thematic photo booth, everyone can feel a bit like a spotlighted actor in a theatre production.
