Ventspils Culture Centre’s mixed vocal ensemble MUNDUS invites the audience and friends to the 20th anniversary concert “Esam raibā pasaulē” (We are in a colourful world) on 18 June at 17.00 in the Concert Hall “Latvija”. Performers: vocal ensemble “Mundus”, women’s choir “Venda”, choir “Nošu planētas”, vocal ensemble “Trifeles” (Kuldīga), chamber choir “Matejs” (Riga).
The vocal ensemble, with a name appropriate to the Universe, has been led by Rudīte Tālberga and Anitra Niedre since the first day of its existence. Numerous emotional moments and opportunities for growth have been established by playing together and creating projects with interesting Latvian musicians and composers. Together with friends from Riga, Kuldīga and Ventspils, the programme will include Latvian composers’ songs and folk song versions.
