On Saturday, July 22 – while the Ghetto Games festival continues in Ventspils, the day’s events in Ventspils will be closed by a night open-air and indoor party, the central event of which will be the concert of the hip-hop supergroup “Singapore Satin”.
A large open-air area for a concert and an indoor party for a second dance area or in rainy conditions at Tirgus laukum 1 – entrance from Skolas ielas 1.
“Singapūras Satins” is Latvia’s loudest and most discussed hip-hop group of recent times, which debuted at the end of 2015, when it published the group’s first mixtape “Singapūras Satins Vol. 1”. This mixtape was praised overnight by listeners and critics for its unique performance, satirical lyrics and “contemporary” sound, which is not characteristic of Latvia. To date, the group has released three studio albums, three mixtapes and several singles. In 2020, “Singapore Satin” started cooperation with the music publishing house “Universal Music Group”.
