The following writers, poets and translators are working at the International Writers’ and Translators’ House in October: Daina Tabūna (Latvia), Wojciech Kuczok (Poland), Ilmārs Šlāpins (Latvia), Inese Zandere (Latvia), Maria Mustranta (Finland), Inga Žolude (Latvia), Siarhiej Kalenda (Belarus), Lelde Jauja (Latvia), Elīna Līce (Latvia), Jonė Ramunytė (Lithuania), Rūta Jonynaitė-Kumžienė (Lithuania)

In October, for the first time from Latvia, the writer Daina Tabūna, who is currently writing her second book of prose, will visit the House. Also present for the first time are Wojciech Kuczok from Poland, who is writing a novel about the dimensions of the male crisis, and Maria Mustrant from Finland, who is writing her second novel.

Returning to the House are Lithuanian translators Jonė Ramunytė, who translates from French, Rūta Jonynaitė-Kumžienė, who translates from German, and the Belarusian writer, publisher and publicist Siarhiej Kalend, who now lives in Lithuania.

Latvian authors are Ilmārs Šlāpins, Inese Zandere, Inga Žolude, Lelde Jauja and Elīna Līce.
