On May 25th at 11:00 AM in Staldzene, by the Būšnieki Lake boat base, the 44th run around Būšnieki Lake will take place in collaboration with SIA Ģeodēzists and the “Ventspils Maratona Klubs” association. The race distance is 8.0 km (one lap around the lake). Participants will gather in Staldzene at the Būšnieki Lake boat base.
The run around Būšnieki Lake will be held in 4 age groups:
Men and women:
- Group I: Born in 2004 or later.
- Group II: Born between 2002 and 1994.
- Group III: Born between 1993 and 1984.
- Group IV: Born in 1983 or earlier.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age group for both men and women will be awarded medals and diplomas, along with surprise prizes from the race organizers.
Pre-registration is open until 2:00 PM on May 24th via the website: https://ej.uz/b2024, where you must provide your name, surname, and the first part of your personal identification number. If you register by 2:00 PM on May 24, 2024, the participation fee is 2 EUR. Participation is free for children under 18. If registering on the race day, May 25th, the participation fee is 5 EUR. Registration closes at 10:30 AM.
