On September 28th at 5:00 PM, the vocal group Solala from Sweden and the Ventspils Cultural Centre women’s choir Venda, winners of the Song Festival Grand Prize, will perform a joint program titled “Singing Together” at the concert hall “Latvija.”

Solala has redefined the perception of what a vocal group can sound like. In the music world, Solala is known as a vocal powerhouse trio. Over the past few years, their dynamic music videos have attracted a massive audience. With their unique and outstanding performances, Solala has become a YouTube sensation and a sought-after concert group worldwide.

The women’s choir Venda from Ventspils Cultural Centre is one of the most talented and active choirs in Latvia. They are the winners of the Song Festival Grand Prize and laureates of numerous international competitions, festivals, and choir forums. The choir’s conductors and driving forces are Anitra Niedre and Rudīte Tālberga.

In this concert, the trio of Swedish singers from Solala and the Ventspils women’s choir Venda will bring beloved songs to life, performing them in new arrangements and promising to deliver an unforgettable evening together.

The concert is organized by SIA “Kurzemes filharmonija in collaboration with the association “Mazā prinča planētas” and the foundation “Sing Latvia.” The program “Singing Together” is supported by the Sweden-Latvia Cooperation Fund and the State Cultural Capital Foundation.
