On September 29th at 3:00 PM, the Ventspils Cultural Center will host a solo concert by Kaspars Antess, a schlager musician born in Ventspils. In the program titled “Mēs satiksimies” (“We Will Meet”), Antess will perform exclusively his own compositions, including popular and well-known schlager hits such as “Neskaties atpakaļ” (“Don’t Look Back”),“Likteņlīnijas” (“Lines of Fate”),“Saldā dzīve” (“Sweet Life”),“Stabulīte”(“The Little Flute”),and this year’s finalist in the “Latvijas Sirdsdziesma” poll,“Es tev novēlu”(“I Wish You”) among others. For the song “Likteņlīnijas,” Antess received the Copyright Infinity Award in 2018; this track was the most played song on Latvian Radio 2 in 2016 and was named “Schlager Song of the Year” by “Latvijas Šlāgeraptauja.”
