on December 1 at We will celebrate this traditional holiday on 5 February in the Children’s Town at 11:00 15.00 In the “Fantāzija” children’s park, we invite everyone to participate in fun forest games, games and dances, hear stories from the fairy-tale world and light the festive tree together with Santa Claus and the gnomes of the Fairytale Forest.
The fairy forest gnomes live in their magical forest all year round and this year they are touring Latvia to share the accumulated joy, love and light. In summers and autumns, under the moss, the gnomes bustle, plan and prepare for the holidays, but in the winter they go to the children to give warmth and a feeling of celebration in the dark winter evenings and to light the Christmas tree together with grandfather, which will become a symbol of the approaching Christmas.
The event takes place as part of the series of events “Fabulous Forest Elves Tour Latvia” and is organized in cooperation with the Forest Design Garden, the first and only furniture nursery in Latvia, where unique design furniture is grown and created. The Meža Design Garden also offers tours, venues and other activities that stimulate imagination and creativity.
Admission is free is charge.
The event is organised by the Ventspils Culture Centre and supported by the Ventspils State City Municipality.
