Spring is not only a time of nature awakening, but also a time for reflection and spiritual growth. During the Great Lent, we invite you to a special creative and spiritual gathering, “A Creative Journey in Faith,” where we will explore and deepen the symbols of the path of faith, engage in conversation, and share experiences.
Jūrkalnes Sv. In St. Joseph’s Church Pastor’s House, we will collectively experience:
- The Rosary Workshop “The Path of Life and Symbols”.
- We will explore and understand the deeper meaning of the Rosary prayer, its symbolism, and its connection to our daily lives. Together, we will create and discover the power of this ancient prayer.
- Conversations with the priest.
- An opportunity to ask questions, share reflections, and seek answers on matters of faith, life, and spiritual growth.
- “What will we eat in Lent in Lieja?”
- A conversation and experience exchange about Lenten traditions, preparing simple yet delicious and symbolic meals. We will experience the taste of childhood by baking “hunger pancakes” – a simple, hearty, and symbolic Lenten dish that reminds us of modesty and the value of togetherness.
