Renovated in 2018.
As there was a bridge here in the 50s of the 20th century that had completely collapsed and could not be repaired, the riverbed was cleaned and the old piles were removed.
Project goal: to increase the flow of pedestrians and cyclists along the coastal nature trails of the Baltic Sea, linking the natural and cultural heritage sites of Užava Parish together.
The organised flow of pedestrians and cyclists helps to preserve and promote the Baltic Sea coastal area in Užava Parish and its unique natural sites – the Grey Dune, the mouth of the Užava River, as well as Užava Lighthouse, the Lutheran Church and other sites, ensuring the ease of access.
