In order to get to know better the swamp itself and the life of its habitat animals one of the Stikli swamps – Vasenieki swamp – has swamp footbridge installed. Visitors can view damaged part of the swamp while going through amelioration ditch and to compare it with natural part of the swamp which is full with life.
Length of the route is 4 km.
There is a picnic area at the beginning of the trail.
The most suitable time for bird-watching is April, May and October when birds migrate.
In order to get to know flora and fauna of the swamp you can take 26 km long ride by bicycle.
