The fourth birthday celebrations of the Concert Hall “Latvija” will also take place on 28 July, when Normunds Rutulis, Denisa Dārzniece and the Ventspils Big Band will take to the stage of the amphitheatre at 20.00.

On the second day of the Concert Hall celebrations, SIA “Kurzemes filharmonija” offers a free outdoor party in the amphitheatre, where singer Normunds Rutulis and jazz soloist Denisa Dārzniece, a graduate of Ventspils Music High School, will perform on stage together with the Ventspils Big Band. The concert will feature popular songs performed by Normunds Rutulis – from “Nekur nav tik labi kā mājās” (There is no place like home) to his latest recording “Klau, kafiju!” (Let’s have some coffee!) – and other favourite compositions.

The amphitheatre of the Concert Hall “Latvija” will open on Friday, 28 July at 20.00, but before that – at 18.30 – it will be possible to take a public guided tour of the building, see places inaccessible to visitors, learn about the history of the Concert Hall, its secrets, furnishings, unique instruments and possibilities.

The celebrations of the fourth birthday of the Concert Hall “Latvija” will begin on 27 July at 19.00, when the Great Hall will be filled with a unique, never-before-heard trio of keyboardists – accordionist Ksenija Sidorova, pianist Reinis Zariņš and organist Aigars Reinis. Tickets for the anniversary concert and public tour are available at all “Biļešu paradīze” box offices.
