The ball is in full swing! Ventspils Culture Centre invites you to the Autumn Ball on 7 October at 21:00. The band “Bruģis”, well-known all over Latvia, will take care of the dancing fun.
On the first Saturday of October, “Bruģis” will be playing well-known tunes that will encourage everyone to dance. For 36 years, the band has made a name for itself with countless concerts and parties, as well as with its own original songs. Almost no party can be imagined without the band’s popular hits – “Mana mīļā tu”, “Laimes straumes”, “Klaidonis”, “Kaija”.
Describing the band, its musicians – Sandris Sproģis and Edmunds Vestmanis – believe that it has managed to combine diametrically opposite characteristics. The band’s name suggests permanence, stability and strength, while its music gives listeners a light flight of the soul. On the evening of 7 October, Edmunds Vestmanis will be replaced on stage by Jānis Vībants, musician of the band “Vēja runa”.
In between the dance steps, the Ventspils middle-generation dance group “Strautuguns” will remind the audience of their dance steps.
The ball will take place in the Great Hall of the Ventspils Culture Centre, and visitors are invited to bring their own food and drinks.
