On Wednesday, December 18, at 19:00, Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare invites you to an entertaining and humor-filled show “Ir vēl” at the theater house “Jūras vārti,” where she will share her brand-new, never-before-heard adventure stories.
“I can be grateful to fate for blessing me with events and people who adorn my life and make it charming. Sometimes, events create such a whirlwind that they demand to be shared, and now the time has come again for me to say: ‘There’s more to tell!'” says Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare.
She admits that the stand-up format is close to her heart because it offers an opportunity to share how the world interacts with her life, how a specific time has been experienced, how she has tried to come to terms with it, and, ultimately, how she has discovered the flavor of life.
“Many well-known people in society find it popular to write their memoirs as a way of capturing the times. Writing is not my genre, but speaking is. It’s easier for me to tell a story. That’s what I know how to do and have been doing for years. Yes, this genre might be fleeting, but I’m glad that my story and perspective on things and events resonate with someone. That’s why, from time to time, I speak,” explains Baiba.
