Acoustic guitarist trio AG TRIO, upon audience request, will once again delight its listeners with a special program at Latvian cultural venues. The first concert will be on March 30 at 4:00 PM at the VEF Culture Palace.
Although the trio members regularly participate in many well-known musical projects and each performs solo projects, gathering full audiences throughout Latvia, the musicians have found an opportunity to reunite for the common joy of making music for themselves and their listeners. The program will feature interpretations of works by world-famous composers, as well as original compositions by the guitarists themselves, as well as a possible premiere.
Latvia’s most outstanding guitarists of different generations – Kaspars Zemītis, Aivars Hermanis and Mārcis Auziņš – inspired by the collaboration of world-famous guitar virtuosos Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin and Paco De Lucia, united in 2011 to form an acoustic guitar trio, which was given the name «AG 3’o».
