For the first time in the Baltics and Ventspils, an international festival dedicated solely to percussion instruments will take place – “Percussion Sound Ventspils”, and its special guests will be the world-famous percussion ensemble from Germany “Elbtonal Percussion”, which surprises with innovative sound solutions and impressive energy.
“Elbtonal Percussion” is a percussion quartet that, with their unique approach, is able to turn the stage into a real forest of percussion instruments. They use a variety of instruments – Taiko drums, gongs, marimbas and everyday objects, which gain new life as innovative percussion instruments.
“Elbtonal Percussion” has performed in many concert halls around the world and for the first time they will visit Ventspils, offering an unforgettable musical experience. The concert will combine classical percussion instruments with creative and innovative solutions. “Elbtonal Percussion” with its musical mastery and creativity will create a special atmosphere, offering the audience an exciting and diverse concert program “NEO(N)”, which will combine elements of different cultures and musical genres.
