Morica Festival 2024. – Count Morics visit and festive programme on the shore of Lake Usma for big and small all day long! Early in the morning, the most passionate anglers will gather for the “Morica Catch” fishing competition. The opening concert on Usma beach will feature dances by VPDK “Usma” and friends, and musical performances by PO “Ugāle”. It has become a tradition to honour the most responsive Usma inhabitants at the opening concert. Throughout the day – individual sports activities for all age groups, inflatables, water balls, SUP boards, horseback riding, cruises on Lake Usma and Morica andele or festival market, an interactive circus programme for children and creative workshops for young and old. Evening concert with Katrīna Dimanta. The festivities will be concluded with a big green ball with the band “VIA Sienāži”, a farewell speech by Count Moritz and a fireworks display after Usma time!
