The exhibition “World Routes of Latvian Sailors and Marinas of Elita Viliama” will feature not only various works of art, but also exhibits about Latvia’s maritime history and world travel.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the yacht designed and built in Latvia by the constructor with the world name Alda Eglāja – the catamaran “Kaupo” and the wedge yacht “Milda” with the Latvian flag on the mast – made the first trips around the world in the history of sailing. The exhibition will feature a model of the catamaran “Kaupo”, engravings, paintings by Latvian and foreign artists, photo posters, postage stamp projects and implemented variants and other materials and their descriptions, as well as exhibits on the maritime history of Latvia and world travel.
The exhibition is on view throughout July.
