The creative group “EVENTUS” invites you to experience Georgian culture through the performance “kARTveli” by the dance group “Ge Folk” (Tbilisi, Georgia). In the performance “kARTveli”, everyone has the opportunity to feel the Southern temperament, get acquainted with traditional Georgian dance, the ethnic spirit of song, and energetic rhythms, providing not only a powerful musical but also a visual enjoyment.
The dance group “Ge Folk” was established in 2013 with the aim of popularizing the cultural and historical heritage of Georgia. In their dances and performances, the dance group uses compositions by famous national composers. The creator of the group is Tinatin Koiava, choreographer, director, head of the Choreography Department of Tbilisi Sergo Zakariadze College of Traditional and Contemporary Arts (Georgia). The collective consists of 20 professional dancers who are graduates of the mentioned college. The dance group “Ge Folk” actively participates in various international festivals and competitions in Europe and Asia, receiving high ratings from the audience and the jury.
