On June 20, we will entertain Jānis with the play “Skroderdienas Silmachis” by Rūdolf Blaumaņis, created by director Imants Strads by attracting actors from various theaters.
Last year, the play “Skroderdienas Silmačos” celebrated its 120th anniversary, and in honor of this event, a completely new production of it was created, bringing together actors from almost all the biggest theaters in Latvia.Director: Imants Strads, with actors from almost all of Latvia’s major theatres in the roles: Kristīne Nevarauska (Antonija), Edgars Pujāts (Dūdars), Madara Melne Tomsone (Elīna), Ivo Martinsons (Aleksis), Artis Jančevskis (Kārlēns), Imants Strads (Pindaks), Ieviņa (Elīna Bojarkina or Zane Aļļēna), Meinards Liepiņš (Rūdis), Marģers Eglinskis (Ābrams Vulfsons), Ģirts Liuzniks (Joske), Lelde Dreimane (Zāra Goldbaum), Pindacīša (Ieva Puķe or Regīna Devīte), Bebene (Elīna Vāne or Sigita Pļaviņa), Hostess of Tomuļi (Māra Mennika or Baiba Valante).
