Composer Raimonds Tiguls, the boys’ choir of Riga Cathedral, the string quintet and instrumental group of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra take part in the concert. Conductor Mārtiņš Klišāns. The program includes both new compositions and music from movies (“Mother’s milk”, “Likteņa līdumnieki”, etc.), as well as popular compositions and songs of the composer performed at the Song Festival.
Raimonds Tiguls – composer and producer. He has received several Music Recording of the Year Awards. His compositions “Lec, saulīte” and “Dod, Dieviņi” are popular among both Song Festival singers and listeners. As well as the composer, he is known in Latvia as the creator of the “Tiguļkalns” concerts, which is a beautiful annual tradition for fans of Raimond’s music. The concert is organized by SIA “Kurzeme Philharmonija”. Tickets are available on the “Biļešu paradīze” website www.bilesuparadize.lv and at other points of sale in the network, including the ticket offices of the “Latvija” concert hall and the “Jūras vārti” theater house.
