VIZIUM will offer an exciting adventure during the Researchers’ Night – everyone interested will have the opportunity to explore various inventions by scientists in a hands-on way. Visitors will need to use a map to navigate to science stations, where they will learn about the inventions of Isaac Newton, Leonardo da Vinci, and Latvian scientists by completing interesting tasks, experiments, and other activities. At each station, participants will not only gain new knowledge and spend time creatively, but they will also decipher the secret code of the Researchers’ Night step by step. The event is free of charge, and it will take place on 27 September from 19:00 to 21:00 on the 2nd floor of Ventspils Science Centre VIZIUM.
Additionally, during the event, participants will meet representatives from Ventspils University of Applied Sciences, who will offer educational quizzes, demonstrations of electronic devices, and the opportunity to observe constellations with a telescope, weather permitting.
On 27 September, the exhibition hall of the science centre will be open until 21:00. A 15% discount will apply to the entrance ticket price for the exhibition hall throughout the day.
Prior registration is not required.
