An event dedicated to promoting and appreciating the significant contribution of the renowned film director Juris Podnieks to Latvia’s cultural landscape.
During the event, Laima Graždanoviča will present a selection of Podnieks’ most influential short films, allowing visitors to engage with his artistic works on a deeper level.
The session will also include an introduction outlining Podnieks’ life and career, highlighting his profound impact on the film industry.
The discussions will also explore current developments in short film production in Latvia, examining the history of the 2ANNAS International Short Film Festival and its significance in promoting the recognition of short films.
