Ventspils Digital Centre invites everyone to participate in the free educational activities “Labyrinth of Knowledge,” which will take place as part of European Researchers’ Night. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about various artificial intelligence (AI) tools and test their knowledge of the internet and scientific facts, while younger attendees can get creative and build a flying object.

  • In the public area,
    • visitors will be able to explore various AI tools and try out the possibilities AI offers on their own devices.
  • In the Small Hall,
    • AI workshops will be held with instructor Didzis Ābele (registration required):
      • at 5:15 PM – 5:45 PM: Participants will learn about the AI tool Microsoft Copilot.
      • at 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Visitors will have the chance to explore the AI tool Google Gemini.
  • In the Large Hall,
    • there will be various LearningApps tasks, crosswords, and quizzes testing knowledge about AI and the internet.
  • In the Multimedia Hall,
    • a workshop will allow children to create a flying object of their choice, such as an airplane, robot, rocket, etc.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the workshops, regardless of age! The workshops are free of charge. To register for the sessions in the Small Hall, fill out the registration form here: www.adre.se/midarbnicas , No prior registration is required for the other activities.
