From From March 21 to March 23, 2025. The Ventspils International Fighting Robot Hackathon will take place for the first time. In addition to “Combat Robotics,” the Ventspils Robotics Championship will take place on March 22. – one of the stages of the Latvian Robotics Championship. The event will take place At Ventspils University, and it invites both robotics enthusiasts and interested individuals to join and watch this exciting event.
In two days, the teams:
- Will develop their own fighting robots;
- Will present the robots to the jury;
- Will compete in a specially designed arena with appropriate robots.
The hackathon winners will receive valuable prizes from the event’s supporters.

The goal of the event is to promote robotics and encourage the interest of children, young people, and adults in engineering sciences. It offers a unique opportunity for participants to test their technical knowledge and skills by developing a fully functional fighting robot in a short period of time. Participants will be able to draw inspiration and exchange ideas with other robotics enthusiasts and experts.
