On 13 May, the residents of the right bank of the Venta River will be delighted for the fifteenth time as part of the Pārventa Festival. The concert, which will take place in the square near the sports hall “Pārventa”, will also feature Latvia’s favourite musician Intars Busulis and the accompanying orchestra “Abonementa orķestris”.
After the parade, from 12.30, a concert on the big stage will feature performances carefully prepared by the young students of the pre-school educational institutions of Pārventa and musical programmes by schoolchildren. The special occasion of the half-round anniversary will be marked by a concert by singer Intars Busulis and the orchestra “Abonementa orķestris”, starting at 14.00.
Intars Busulis is without exaggeration one of the phenomena of Latvia who, thanks to his charisma, has managed to unite very wide audiences. He started his singing career in Raimonds Tiguls project “Caffe”. He has also played in the NAF Staff Brass Band and jazz band “Wet point”. During his solo career he has received various awards in competitions and TV shows both in Latvia and abroad. For the people of Ventspils, Intars victory in the “Musical Bank” with the song “Brīvdiena” (Holiday), which took place in Ventspils in 2009, is still a vivid memory. Currently, alongside his active concert career, the attractive musician is proving himself in various TV shows, such as the X Factor, “Mini pa trim” and others.
Orchestra “Abonementa orķestris” is composed of such renowned Latvian musicians as Kārlis Lācis, Kaspars Zemītis, Kaspars Grigalis, Edvīns Ozols, Māris Jēkabsons, Vineta Elksne, Karīna Tropa and Alise Kante.
