In the very heart of Ventspils – in the Ventspils market, the Ventspils winery “WINDAU WINES” is located, where wines, ciders, sparkling wines and strong drinks are made on the spot. Drinks are made from berries, fruits, flowers and even birch sap collected in the Ventspils area.
On the other hand, the particularly delicious honey product wines and strong drinks come from the winemaker’s homeland – Lubana, where the winemaker’s father and brother are engaged in beekeeping. Birch juice wine is especially well-known and popular – wine that has traveled to the most distant places in the world, such as Japan, Australia, New Zealand, USA, France, Germany, Russia, etc.
The assortment of the winery is variable, we independently offer more than five different types of wine, and several types of liqueurs, brandy, brandy, calvados (apple brandy), gin and even whiskey.
Our products can be tasted and purchased in our store at Tirgus Street 8, Ventspils, as well as in various retail outlets.
For leisurely visitors, we also offer a tasting of our products, the time of which would need to be agreed in advance.
