On Sunday, 14 May at 16.00, the last concert of the acoustic concert series “Pie vienas uguns” (By One Fire) of The Sound Poets will take place at the Concert Hall “Latvija”.
As part of the concert series, The Sound Poets have announced a month-long series of concerts in 12 Latvian cities – Smiltene, Jēkabpils, Valmiera, Alūksne, Sigulda, Jelgava, Rēzekne, Liepāja, Rīga, Madona, Saldus and Ventspils.
Acoustic concerts have become a tradition for The Sound Poets and this is their fourth acoustic concert series. In April this year, the band released 14 new tracks, included in the album “Pie vienas uguns” (By One Fire).
Jānis Aišpurs, singer of The Sound Poets, says: “We want to bring the music of the new album to our listeners in a calm and toned down atmosphere. Nevertheless, acoustic concerts are always very powerful and a real exchange of live energy, which can only be obtained in such close encounters.”
