We invite everyone to end 2024 actively by participating in the traditional New Year’s Eve run on December 31st, at 11:00. Start at the Olympic Center “Ventspils”.
The tradition of the New Year’s run was established more than 50 years ago by coach Andrejs Dogadovs. Participants will be able to choose a suitable distance from 1 to 5 kilometers without time control, as well as distances with time control – 3 km for women and 5 km for men.
Runners who complete the timed distance will be awarded – the six fastest women in the 3 km and the six fastest men in the 5 km distance. After the finish line, participants will be able to enjoy hot tea and treats from the race organizers.
Participants will receive their bib numbers on December 31st from 10:00 and please arrive on time. Participation in the race is free.
