Please be informed that due to the events planned for the City Festival and its safe conduct, on 5 August there will be traffic restrictions and street closures at the following locations and times:
- Tirgus Street (from Pils Street to Ostas Street), Skolas Street (from Zvana Street to the market parking lot entrance behind Katrīnas Street), Katrīnas Street (from Skolas Street to the market parking lot entrance) on 4 and 5 August from 7:00 to 17:00;
- Kuldīgas Street (from Sporta Street to Lielais prospekts) on 5 August from 6:00 to 24:00;
- Pāvila Street (from Ganību Street to Kuldīgas Street) on 5 August from 6:00 to 24:00;
- Lielais prospekts (from Ganību Street to Kuldīgas Street) on 5 August from 12:00 to 23:30;
- Sofijas Street (from Kuldīgas Street to Pils Street) on 5 August from 8:00 to 17:00;
- Akmeņu Street (entire length) on 5 August from 8:00 to 17:00. 17:00.
The following streets will be closed on 5 August in preparation for and during the parade:
- From 9.30 to 12.00
- Pētera Street in the section from Vasarnīcu Street to Saules Street;
- Lielais prospekts in the section from Poruka Street to Vasarnīcu Street;
- Poruka Street in the section from Lielais prospekts to Inženieru Street;
- Vasarnīcu Street in the section from Kroņa Street to Inženieru Street;
- From 09.30 to 12.00 traffic will be restricted on Vasarnīcu Street in the section from Kroņa Street to Inženieru Street
- Participants and vehicles will stand on the right side of the carriageway of Vasarnīcu Street, while the carriageway on the other side of the street will be open to traffic. Traffic will be regulated by the Municipal Police and the State Police.
- From 10.30 to 12.00, Lielais prospekts and its access streets in the section from Vasarnīcu Street to Brīvības Street.
- From 10.30 to 12.00 Brīvības Street in the section from Strēlnieku Street to Jūras Street (right turn will be allowed at the intersection with Brīvības Street when driving along the Lielais prospekts from Pārventa).
